Obscure Baseball Player Card #4 - Shawn Boskie
Zack from Fat Shawn Kemp back with my fourth obscure player card.  This week I have Right-Handed Pitcher Shawn Boskie.  According to Wikipedia (which doesn’t have much on him) he pitched in the Majors from 1990 to 1998.  He played first for the Cubs and throughout his career pitched for the Phillies, Mariners, Angels, Orioles, and ended with the Expos. Boskie made his major league debut on May 20, 1990 pitching a 5-hit complete game shutout. His overall rookie year was quite promising, finishing with a 3.63 ERA in 15 games started. The rest of Boskie’s eight year career was below average, posting an ERA above 5.00 in all but one other season.
