Brought to you by Fat Shawn Kemp
Randy Moffitt, seen on this card during his only year with the Blue Jays, pitched in the majors from 1972 to 1983. Most of his time was spent as a relief pitcher with the San Francisco Giants except his last two years with the Houston Astros and Blue Jays. Randy is the younger brother of women’s tennis star Billie Jean King!

Obscure Baseball Player Card #7 - Nelson Liriano, 1991 Fleer
Brought to you by Fat Shawn Kemp
Well, there is not much information to be found on Nelson. From the Dominican Republic, he played in the majors for 11 seasons from 1987 to 1998 for a total of 7 different teams. In 1999 he played one game for the Chunichi Dragons in Japan. On this card we have him pictured with the Minnesota Twins in 1991, his only year with the team.

Obscure Baseball Player Card #6 - Bob James, 1988 Fleer
It’s been a while, but this is Zack from Fat Shawn Kemp back with another edition of obscure baseball player cards.
Today I have this lovable teddy bear of a pitcher, Bob James. Bob was a relief pitcher in the majors from 1978-1987. During that time he pitched for the Expos, Tigers, and White Sox with a 24-26 Win-Loss record, 340 K’s and 73 Saves.

Obscure Baseball Player Card #4 - Shawn Boskie
Zack from Fat Shawn Kemp back with my fourth obscure player card. This week I have Right-Handed Pitcher Shawn Boskie. According to Wikipedia (which doesn’t have much on him) he pitched in the Majors from 1990 to 1998. He played first for the Cubs and throughout his career pitched for the Phillies, Mariners, Angels, Orioles, and ended with the Expos. Boskie made his major league debut on May 20, 1990 pitching a 5-hit complete game shutout. His overall rookie year was quite promising, finishing with a 3.63 ERA in 15 games started. The rest of Boskie’s eight year career was below average, posting an ERA above 5.00 in all but one other season.
